Best Friends Pamper Gift

Hey Everybody,

I am sure there are times when you love to pamper yourself, just like I do, so I thought why not put together a pamper kit for some of your girl friends.

I decided to do this for my friends for Christmas but you could adapt it for birthdays, get well soon presents or even just a pick me up for someone who is feeling a bit down.

I don't know about you, but I am on a budget, so I have tried to keep costs down by making some of the gifts myself.

The gift contains the things that I think my girl friends would like, but you can change it to suit your  friends.
So here we go, here's how I put mine together:

With it being Christmas, I decided to build myself a Christmassy workshop to get myself into the festive mood.

The first item is an UNBAKED BROWNIE IN A JAR!

This is an idea that I first saw on Meg DeAngelis' YouTube video: DIY Christmas Gift Ideas: Easy & Cheap DIY Presents!

Make sure to check her channel out, she has some amazing ideas!

But I've decided to take a short cut, and used a store bought brownie mix.

Everything I used in this unbaked brownie in a jar can be purchased from all major superstores.

You will need a suitably sized storage or preserve jar (which will hold up to one litre of ingredients)

I found that clear glass ones give the best finished look.

Open your packet of brownie mix and remove jar lid.

The  brownie mix I used came with white and dark chocolate chips, but I decided to make it extra luxurious by adding in milk chocolate chips and marshmallows.

Pour entire contents into your jar, make sure to gently shake your jar from side to side to ensure the ingredients lie level.

Add your marshmallows and chocolate chips.

Replace lid and your ready to decorate.

To decorate I used some coloured ribbon and labels which had the full recipe to make the finished brownies. However, you could add stickers or glass colouring markers to personalize your jar.

Most recipes and baking instructions can be found on the back of store bought mixtures. Make sure to include a copy of the instructions so they know any other ingredients to add such as egg, water and oil.

The finished product!

Next I added a candle, with it being Christmas, I chose one scented with Christmas spice.

I added homemade bath bombs, watch out for future blogs on how you can make your own!

Now add a beauty treatment, I went with facemasks as H&M have a wonderful selection.

Finally I put in a pair of fluffy slipper socks and some sachets of hot chocolate powder to pamper to the max!

Pop it into a gift bag then your good to go, your very own ultimate pamper kit!

Just imagine a cold winters night or your just feeling a bit low, set the oven away and make your brownies, run a bath, pop the bath bombs in, use your face mask, have a long soak, put your pyjamas  and slipper socks on, settle yourself down with a good DVD (or YouTube ) with a cup of hot chocolate and a slice of freshly baked brownie. Heaven!

CAUTION:

Remember food and skin products can cause allergic reactions, so be sure to check with your friends if they have any allergy problems.

Not all of the products I have used, will be suitable for young children, and if you include products such as candles or products that require the use of ovens, electrical appliances or water, they should always be supervised by a responsible adult.

Zoella Product Launch

Hey Everybody,

After years of watching other bloggers and youtubers I was inspired to start my own blog. Two of my favourite bloggers ,for fashion and beauty advice ,are Zoella (aka Zoe Sugg) and Tanya Burr, who are now known internationally and have both launched some of their  very own beauty ranges.

Near the end of September, Zoella, launched her first bath and beauty range which is available in selected Superdrug stores or online at feelunique.com.

Obviously, I was one of the first in the queue on launch day to buy it.

I was lucky enough to purchase the whole range on launch day, so here it is, the full collection. so settle down and lets' review:

Here it is in all it's glory, the full collection.

Now lets go through them in more detail:

To set the mood, let's start with the 'Lets Glow' fragranced candle,

Product description:

'Create you own relaxing space and surround yourself with fragrance for a much needed wind down.

This cute and calming candle will help free your mind with its gentle blend of white wood accents, sweet vanilla and soft floral notes.'

This product does exactly what it says on the tin, literally. When lit, the candle gives off a subtle aroma of vanilla and spring flowers and really does put you into a relaxed mood.

This candle is great  for either a relaxing bath or as a general room freshener.

Talking about relaxing baths, next we have two products that go great together.

First is the 'Fizz Bar' a fragranced bath fizzer:

Product description: '8 little cubes to make your bath time fizz! This super cute bar will transform your bath into a fresh and fragrant soak for some much needed 'wash your cares away' me-time.'

In it's wrapper it looks like a bar of chocolate, open it and it looks like a bar of white chocolate, so much so there is labels on the packaging telling you not to eat it!

Directions say that one or possibly two cubes  should be added to a warm running bath , but quite honestly I found that one was more than enough. Best of all this chocolate bar has got no calories. YAY!

To compliment this bath fizzer is the Soak Opera bath soak and shower cream.

Product description:  'keep calm with this 'beauty in a bottle' bath soak. Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Aloe extracts soften and condition the skin while the delicate fragrance calms the senses with soothing floral notes. Say hello to your new bubbly bestie!'

This can be used along side or as an alternative to the Fizz Bar, after all not everyone wants a fizzy bath.

When used just as a bath or shower cream the aloe extracts really do leave your skin feeling soft and silky!

After you have a taken a luxurious bath, be sure to smother and indulge yourself with the 'Creamy, Madly, Dreamy' body lotion.

Product description: 'Totally tempting dream cream for a smooth and silky body. Fresh and girly, this indulgent body lotion will pamper your skin with a gorgeously scented creamy cuddle. Enriched with Vitamin E, Aloe and Shea Butter to soften and condition the body-  because your skin needs a bit of love too!'

Yes it does leave your skin silky smooth, must be the Aloe and Shea Butter extracts again.

As if you haven't indulged yourself enough with these gorgeous bath products, or you just want to feel, and smell lovely all day, try the 'Blissful Mistful' body mist.

Product description: 'A super light and feminine body spritz to scent your body with fresh and floral notes. Enriched with Vitamin E and fruit extracts - bliss in a bottle'

Whether you want just an everyday smell or want to spice things up for that special night out, then the Blissful Mistful body mist is the perfect product for you!

Finally in the range is a beauty bag:

Product description: This gorgeous printed bag can store anything you need it to, keeping life super easy and organised!

Perfect for on the go or for a weekend away, this storage bag gives you room to store all of your favourite products from this collection as well as room for any extra essentials. Not only that but it comes in two designs.

Don't worry about those make up stains either as both cases are wipe clean so you need not worry any longer about leakages.

Watch out for these and other items in my Christmas gift suggestions, coming soon!
